Friendly City Co-op opened its doors in June 2011, after six years of passionate planning and fundraising by a team of dedicated local residents who dreamed of building a high-quality co-op in Harrisonburg. They wanted to create a store where anyone could buy healthful organic meats and produce grown by farmers in the Shenandoah Valley. They wanted to encourage participation and awareness of the local food connection by inviting their friends and acquaintances to become co-op members.

White Oak Lavender Farm

White Oak Lavender Farm is a family owned farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We grow many varieties of lavender and offer "U-Pick" for the flowers buds during the summer and fall bloom seasons. We make lovely soap, lotions, creams, and aromatherapy products for your purchase.
